Critical Jack Auto/ Vertigo

Postby Lochkaese » Sun Sep 14, 2014 11:08 pm

Since I´m taking Photos of my Girls every few Days anyway I can as well post them :P

Both Ladys reside in a 45x50x65 Box that used to be a Mother/ Cuttling box. The Sun is replaced by 4 33w CFL´s, at first 6500k, by now changed to 2700k.
So we have 2 Challenges here: 1 - limited Space in the box
2 - CFL´s (which are only effective in a Distance up to maybe 15cm)

The first few Days are the same everytime anyway, so I started taking Photos a few Days in.

The Vertigo germinated 5 Days after the CJA, both in 0,5l Pots, both getting filtered Tabwater mixed with Willowwater for the first 5 Days. On Day 6 they get new 5l Shoes in which they will stay until Retirement :P
Time for some Pics :geek:

Lets start with the Vertigo Day 9/ 12/ 15/ 18/ 21
ImageImageImageImageImage

Since she was bitching around a little at the Start I gave her some Time to grow strong before the LST.
Here we have Day 22 before the LST/ 23 after LST/ 23/ 26/ 26

Now lets take a look at the Critical Jack Auto:
She grew strong from the beginning so I LST´d her pretty early.
Days 14/ 14/ 17/ 17/ 19/ 21/ 21

Days 24/ 24/ 28/28/ 31/ 31/ 31

By now the Vertigo started to show some small Flowers and the Branches on both girls are (more or less) on the same level.
Thats it for now, lets see what happens the next Weeks 8-)

I use 4x 33w CFL´s in a 45x50x65 (cm) box, its just a Test. If the Outcome is okay I will keep it at this size :D

good question, i dont think 1g/w is possible with cfl´s, at least not without a proper scrog and a high yielding photoperiod. so for this first cfl + first auto grow I think 1g per € spent is okay, that would be around 40-45 :D

Time for an update:

Nothing much happened, I just lst´d the girls from time to time to keep everything at one height (more or less) and as near as possible to the lights.
The CJA developed a very nice sweet smell, kind of a mix between pine and lemon, love it :D
The Vertigo started to show some flowers but she is only 9 days into flowering, so its not so much.

and here are the pics:

CJA day 39 from germination

Vertigo day 34 from germination

more in a few days,
greetings ;)

5 days later, here we go:
The CJA is building up a nice cover of trichomes, the calyx got a nice size so far and shes just 27 days into flower so theres more to come. So far this strain is a real pleasure :D

The Vertigo is busy in growing some white hairs, overall she looks a little thinner compared to the CJA but theres still enough time to catch up.

CJA, 44 days from germination

The Vertigo, 39 days since germination

Not too bad for just cfl´s so far i think :D
