same here, had to install a new carbon filter yesterday, all the lovely smell gone now :|

i know its time for another update but i had to send the cam in for repairs, should be back sometime between friday and monday.

The CJA will soon be ready for harvest 8-) about 5-10% of the trichs turned amber so today she got her tria a last time, until the end she will only get water now.
I expect another ~10-14 days (max). Shes 39 days into blooming now, so the breeders 6-7 weeks are pretty accurate.

The Vertigo, always a little behind the CJA but for the last few days shes pretty good working on filling her buds. The calyx are pretty small so far but 95% of her hairs are still white
so she got some time left to do her job.

I will post pics as soon as I get my cam back.

The question I am thinking about is: Will I do the "oldschool" smelly aromatic bud cure or should I maybe watercure for a change which will give me a almost no smell and no aroma smoke...

so long ;)

Yesterday I flushed the CJA to get all the fertilizer out thats left, from now on only water and a little molasse.
The Vertigo got stripped of unnecessary leafes, her buds are building up nicely, feeling pretty hard.

Thank you bro :D soon we will know...

Just looked at the CJA´s trichs, ~15% Amber, ~75% milky, 10% clear, looking pretty good. I´m going to take her down next week. Last time water+ a little molasses today.

The Vertigo has at least 2 weeks left, still 90% white pistils and every day some new growths. I have to say at first she disappointed me having some troubles with the germination, slow first two weeks of growing, really "airy" flowers at first BUT now she is a really nice plant, the buds are growing every day, getting really hard, nice fruity smell. If she continues to do so, she will be on par with the CJA for the harvest.

Time for another update:
The CJA´s foliage is turning from green to all kinds of colors, yellow, orange and even some purple, looking gorgeous :D
Today at 49 days of flowering my goal of ~20% amber trichomes has been reached so i will cut her down in a few days.

The Vertigo-girls bud are filling up nicely with trichomes, smells somehow like lemons. I expect her to be ready in ~2 weeks.
Her buds got way less leaf than the CJA´s buds.

Today, after 5 days without water, i harvested the CJA.

Image Image

Thats about 128g buds, 30g popcorn and a lot of trimmed sugarleafes for the shaker :D

And the very last picture of the good girl:

So far I am really satisfied with the outcome and there is still the Vertigo left which has at least a week to go.

She´s all alone now.

Time to germinate a seed for the next run...

After 4 days of drying the flowers feel a little crispy on the outside, the stems dont break but make a certain sound when bent.
The drying is done, today starts the curing.
To shorten the waiting period i processed the trimmed sugarleafes and got 2.1g finest bubble :D

Another little update...
Its day 72 for the Vertigo, she will be harvested anytime next week. Very good leaf/ calyx ratio.

8 days after the harvest of the CJA we are down to 56g.
