Mites in soil.

I have mites in my soil. They aren't Spider mites as there not on the plants, just in the soil. Plants are nice and healthy still though.

A picture would speak a thousand words mate. Your post doesnt make alot of sense, are you happy to have gnats or mites or the soil ? They shouldnt be there whatever they are man!

actually these soil mites your talking about are white and move very quickly. They can be seen with the naked eye no problem. I have read about them and what they do is actually eat other bugs in the soil and there larve. I did some looking up on them when I had them and now there gone. they didn't harm my plants in anyway.

Arr right I see what you mean now and your right mate, . They look kind of like what a friend sells in his hydro shop as spider mite predators, the spider mite predators eat all spider mites and then die.

yeah... was nice to find out that they didn't harm my plants at all. don't know where they came from and even asked the hydro guy and he was lost.
